Senior Appointment at Sanofi: Orhan Eren Takes Up Post in Paris

Orhan Eren has been appointed to the position of Key Markets Finance Business Partner within Sanofi's General Medicines organization. Starting his new role as of February 2026, Eren will be responsible for managing financial performance, supporting strategic business decisions, and contributing to the implementation of global strategy in the General Medicines unit of the Key Markets Region. Eren will carry out his duties at Sanofi's global headquarters in Paris.

In his new role, Orhan Eren will provide financial guidance on sales growth, transformation projects, product launches, profitability, and cash generation for the General Medicines unit of the Key Markets Region, which covers 8 different countries or multiple countries including Northern Europe, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Iberian countries, and Gulf countries. Additionally, he will be part of the leadership teams of Finance General Medicines and Key Markets General Medicines.

Throughout his career spanning more than 11 years at Sanofi, Eren has held critical roles in various finance functions including Treasury, Finance Operations, Finance Business Partnership, and Finance Directorship. In 2022, he served as Finance Director for Turkey, Iran and Levant, and in 2024 as Finance Director for Eurasia and Medicines Finance Business Partner.
 
Prior to Sanofi, Orhan Eren worked in the banking sector. He holds a bachelor's degree in Management and Information Systems, a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), and advanced degrees in Economics and Finance, as well as a doctorate in Financial Economics.
