New Era at ETİ: Ercan Öz Appointed Global CEO

ETİ, one of Turkey's leading food companies, has made a significant appointment to its global senior management. Ercan Öz, who has served as ETİ Turkey CEO since 2023, has been appointed as ETİ Global CEO.

ETİ, Turkey's 25th largest industrial enterprise, is advancing with firm steps towards becoming the country's global brand in the food sector. The company, which has recently attracted attention with its investments in international markets and growing presence through the acquisition of TRUBAR, North America's fast-growing protein bar brand, continues to strengthen its global footprint. In line with this vision, Ercan Öz has been appointed to the role of ETİ Global CEO.

In his new position, Ercan Öz aims to further expand ETİ's strong position in Turkey and increase the company's competitive strength in international markets.

Ercan Öz joined ETİ in 2021 as Head of Sales Group and was appointed ETİ Turkey CEO in 2023. During this period, he played a critical role in the company's growth and transformation journey, delivering successful business results. Öz's leadership and management vision will accelerate the company's growth journey at the global scale.

Who is Ercan Öz?
Ercan Öz graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Business in 1992 and began his career in the FMCG sector in 1997 with the Pepsi beverage group. Between 1999 and 2001, he worked as Sales Manager at Coca Cola. Between 2001 and 2010, he served in central and field functions at Frito Lay, leading across different channels and geographies.

Between 2010 and 2017, he held senior positions at Danone including Trade Director and Country Manager roles in different divisions and countries. He led the company acquisition process in Turkey. He also served on Executive Boards of different companies within the Danone group. Ercan Öz served as managing partner of Getir in 2017. Between 2017 and 2021, he worked as General Manager of Düzey Marketing, a Koç Holding company. Ercan Öz joined ETİ Şirketler Grubu in 2021, taking on the roles of Head of Sales Group and Board Member. Appointed to the position of ETİ Turkey CEO in March 2023, Öz has been appointed as ETİ Global CEO as of March 2026.
