Organizational Change at Danfoss: Sertan Genç Appointed Shared Sales Sales Director

Sertan Gençer, who held the position of Sales Director in Turkey & Central Asia OEM and Food Retail divisions within Danfoss Turkey Air Conditioning Solutions Segment, has been appointed to the position of Danfoss Turkey & Central Asia Air Conditioning Solutions Shared Sales Sales Director (all refrigeration business lines) effective 1 March 2026. 

Danfoss Turkey Air Conditioning Solutions Segment has undergone an organizational change. Danfoss has consolidated OEM and dealer channel team structures under a single umbrella in Turkey operations, which it has positioned as a strategic market with intense competition in the air conditioning field. With this change, Danfoss decided to manage OEM, Dealer, Industrial Refrigeration, Food & Retail and Project channels under a single umbrella. In this context, Sertan Gençer, who held the position of Sales Director in Turkey & Central Asia OEM and Food Retail divisions, has been appointed effective 1 March 2026 to the position of Danfoss Turkey & Central Asia Air Conditioning Solutions Shared Sales Sales Director (all refrigeration business lines). 

In a statement made, it was noted that Danfoss's new management model will bring agility to the organization and pave the way for emerging new leaders. The statement also noted that with increased coordination and cooperation between channels, all customer groups would be positively affected, and it is expected that through this the organization's volume would increase and new business lines would be launched. 

Sertan Gençer, Danfoss Turkey & Central Asia Air Conditioning Solutions Shared Sales Sales Director, making statements regarding the new organizational change, said, "Turkey has great potential in the air conditioning field. Who is Sertan Gençer
Sertan Gençer, born in Istanbul Kadıköy in 1983, completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He is married and has 2 children. He holds positions in numerous associations related to the Refrigeration Sector and Sports activities.
Throughout his 20-year career, he has held positions in Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Project and Sales functions. In 2014, he moved from Friterm company and started at Danfoss Automation as Refrigeration Department Sales Engineer, in 2016 as OEM and Key Accounts Sales Manager, in 2020 as Senior Sales Manager, in 2024 as OEM & Food Retail Sales Director, and in 2025 added the management of the CAU (Central Asia) region to these responsibilities. Effective 1 March 2026, he has been appointed to the directorship of all refrigeration business lines.
