L'Oréal Turkey, marking its 40th anniversary in the country, shared the results of a socioeconomic study demonstrating the company's contribution to Turkey's economy. According to the research conducted by an independent organization, the company generated a total impact of TRY 40 billion on Turkey's economy across the value chain.

Strong Impact Across the Value Chain
L'Oréal Turkey operates with its headquarters and distribution operations in Istanbul and houses 22 global brands. While the company directly provides employment to approximately 1,000 people, analyses have shown that each job created generates a multiplier effect of 12 times throughout the ecosystem.

This impact extends beyond the cosmetics sector alone, indicating a broad economic contribution that spans various sectors, particularly retail, logistics and services.

Turkey's Beauty Market Continues to Grow
The research also highlighted the growth performance of the global beauty industry. The sector, which grew by 4.5% in 2024 to reach EUR 290 billion, is expected to reach EUR 380 billion by 2030.

In Turkey specifically, the sector continues its strong growth momentum. According to projections:

-Turkey's beauty market reached TRY 217 billion in 2025
-It is projected to reach TRY 384 billion by 2033

These figures demonstrate that Turkey holds a strategic market position in the global beauty sector.

In her assessment of Turkey's position within the L'Oréal Group, Vanya Panayotova emphasized that the country has become an important hub for Europe through both its economic and cultural strength.

Panayotova noted that Turkey's beauty market achieved 33% value-based growth in 2025, while L'Oréal Turkey surpassed this with 37% growth. She stated that the company aims to continue growing at 1.5–2 times the market rate in the coming period.

Women's Leadership and Social Impact
L'Oréal Turkey stands out not only for its economic contribution but also for its work in social impact.

-50% of leadership positions were held by women in 2024
