Kordsa Receives İTHİB Star Award for Contribution to Exports

Kordsa, one of the world's leading advanced materials manufacturers, received an award at the İTHİB Stars of Exports 2023 Awards Ceremony organized by the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (İTHİB) for its contributions to exports. At the ceremony where Kordsa was recognized as one of the export stars of 2023, Doğan Sevim, Deputy General Manager responsible for Kordsa Global Sales and Marketing, accepted the award.

Kordsa, a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, was among three companies recognized for the prestigious Star award at the İTHİB Stars of Exports 2023 Awards Ceremony organized by the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (İTHİB) to highlight Turkey's global strength in the textile sector and honor companies contributing to exports. 

Held on 12 September 2024 under the hosting of İTHİB Board Chair Ahmet Öksüz and bringing together successful exporters from the Turkish textile sector, which concluded 2023 with USD 11.6 billion in exports, the awards ceremony was attended by Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Export General Manager at the Ministry of Trade, Çetin Tecdelioğlu, Vice Chair of the Turkish Exporters Council (TİM), and numerous guests.

KORDSA AMONG STRONG PLAYERS IN TEXTILE EXPORTS IN 2023

At the ceremony, where it was emphasized that exports will be the engine of growth for Turkey in the coming period, Kordsa was recognized as a Star of textile exports.  

At the İTHİB Stars of Exports 2023 Awards Ceremony, Doğan Sevim, Deputy General Manager responsible for Kordsa Global Sales and Marketing, received Kordsa's Star award.
