Konya's Exports Reach USD 1.609 Billion

Konya exports USD 1.609 billion Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) released Turkey's foreign trade data for June 2022. In June, Turkey achieved exports of USD 23.4 billion, representing an 18.5% increase compared to the same month of the previous year. In June, when 61 provinces increased their exports, Konya's exports rose by 2.19% to USD 279.1 million. According to June figures, Konya's exports in the first half of the year increased by 9.68% to USD 1.609 billion.

Evaluating the export figures, KTO Chairman Selçuk Öztürk stated: "In June, Konya's exports increased by 2.19% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching USD 279,178,000. According to this figure, Konya held a 1.33% share of overall provincial exports. Our first-half 2022 export figures totaled USD 1.609 billion. During the January-June period, exports showed a 9.68% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. I congratulate all the merchants, industrialists and foreign trade professionals who contributed to this result. In the second half of 2022, we will continue working in cooperation with our merchants and industrialists towards our targets."
