While there was a decline in overall exports in March, it is gratifying that our chemical industry remained on the positive side and improved its performance. Looking at the first quarter figures, we see that our exports exceeded USD 8 billion. During this period, our sector exports grew by 7.7%. Among the subsectors with the highest exports in March, mineral fuels and products, plastics and articles, and inorganic chemicals ranked in the top three. In the ranking of countries with the highest exports, the Netherlands, Romania, and Italy ranked in the top three. As İKMİB, we are continuing our activities intensively. We anticipate that with the elimination of election uncertainty, more weight will be given to the economy and exports. We will continue to work harder each month to sustain this export growth."
