İkitelli OSB Provides Support to Manufacturers

İkitelli OSB provided TRY 10,834,240 in savings to industrialists in the first 8 months of 2020 İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone (İOSB), Turkey's oldest and largest organized industrial zone providing the greatest added value to the country's exports, continues to support the industrialists in the region. As the final electricity supplier for electricity users (subscribers) in the zone, İkitelli OSB procures electrical energy needs from the free electricity market and provided industrialists with a total of TRY 10,834,240 in savings during the first 8 months of 2020 compared to the unit prices applied by the designated supply companies in the region and surrounding Istanbul.

Regarding the matter, İkitelli OSB Board Chairman Mahmut M. AYDIN stated: "As İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone management, we have valued and prioritized the needs and production of our manufacturers and industrialists both before and during the pandemic period, and we have carried out important work."

Protecting our manufacturers and industrialists from the effects of Covid-19, which has impacted our country and the entire world, has been our fundamental principle. For this reason, electricity has been supplied more cheaply and made available to our industrialists at 21.7% lower rates for high-voltage industrial subscribers, 32.3% lower for high-voltage non-industrial subscribers, 26.5% lower for low-voltage industrial subscribers, and 34.1% lower for low-voltage non-industrial subscribers. Since energy constitutes a high level of importance for our industrialists within cost items, alleviating their burden in this matter is our primary responsibility. We have always stood by our industrialists and will continue to do so. Additionally, I would like to note that our precautions regarding the pandemic in our zone continue to be implemented strictly." he said.
