Forbes Turkey released the eagerly awaited "Turkey's 100 Richest" list in its April issue. The list showed significant changes this year, with total wealth reaching USD 149.7 billion.
The most striking development in the list was Hamdi Ulukaya's rise to the top. Ulukaya, founder of Chobani, stands out as a figure who has built his entire wealth outside Turkey.
New names and billionaire growth on the list
The 2026 list features 10 new names, while 56 individuals increased their wealth, marking among the year's most notable developments. Additionally, eight new dollar billionaires joined the list. With Turgay Ciner's return to the billionaire ranks, the total number of new billionaires reached nine.
Among those entering the list for the first time, Serdar Turhan and Attila Doğudan stood out. The individuals whose wealth declined and fell off the list, along with changes in rankings, were covered in detail in Forbes Turkey's April issue.
