Anadolu Efes's Consolidated Sales Volume Rises 7.4% in Second Quarter

Anadolu Efes announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. During a period marked by volatile macroeconomic indicators and challenging operating conditions, the company maintained strong operational performance and grew consolidated sales volume.
Anadolu Efes's consolidated sales volume in the second quarter of 2026 rose 7.4% compared to the same period last year, reaching 33.2 million hectolitres. Net sales revenues increased 2.8% to TRY 87.5 billion in the same period, while EBITDA rose 10.3% to TRY 18 billion. EBITDA margin improved by 139 basis points to reach 20.5%.
Anadolu Efes's net profit was realized at TRY 5.1 billion with a modest year-on-year decline.
International beer operations supported growth
In the second quarter of the year, Anadolu Efes's Beer Group international operations maintained strong performance and contributed to consolidated beer results.
In Turkey's beer operations, the weak demand pattern that started in the first quarter of the year persisted in April and May, with signs of recovery appearing in June.
The company's soft drinks operations also maintained strong volume performance in the second quarter, supporting Anadolu Efes's consolidated growth.
"We continued to offset the impact of challenging market conditions"
Beer Group Chairman and Anadolu Efes CEO Onur Alturk, commenting on the second quarter results of 2026, noted that the company achieved strong operational and financial results despite the challenging operating environment.
Alturk stated: "Following the strong start in the first quarter of 2026, we achieved strong operational and financial results in the second quarter despite inflationary pressures, geopolitical uncertainties and weak consumer sentiment in the domestic market. Our business model with geographic diversification continued to significantly offset the impact of difficult market conditions through contributions from our different operations."
Sharing priorities for the remainder of the year, Alturk noted that they will focus on pricing, product mix and cost management, stating that they aim to closely monitor market dynamics and maintain a disciplined approach.
