Solvay Receives Automotive Quality Management Certification Solvay's Solef® PVDF receives automotive quality management certification. Solvay announced that its Solef® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) polymer plant in Tavaux, France has obtained IATF 16949:2016 accreditation for its quality management system. Building on the previously announced PVDF capacity increase at the Tavaux facility, which makes it Europe's largest PVDF production plant, this major achievement encompasses the design and manufacture of PVDF battery-related applications in the automotive industry. The IATF 16949:2016 certification was issued by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Group Limited (LRQA), a leading global assurance provider recognized in more than 120 countries worldwide.
