Avery Dennison Strengthens Its Presence in India Avery Dennison, a leading firm in global materials science and manufacturing, will commence operations at its state-of-the-art new production facility in Noida (India). Through this new facility, the company will consolidate its manufacturing operations to better serve customer demand while optimizing new technology and leveraging increased efficiencies. Within a specified timeframe based on business requirements, a phased transition will take place for employees based outside the facility and Gurgaon factory. However, the company's headquarters will continue to be in Gurgaon. Spanning 12 acres, the state-of-the-art new facility will produce technologically advanced, pressure-sensitive materials for the labeling and packaging industry and will incorporate best practices present globally at Avery Dennison. The new facility, whose site has been allocated by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), will be equipped with the latest high-speed coating technology and will feature state-of-the-art coating and lamination lines as well as high-speed slitting and cutting machines. Speaking on this occasion, Saurabh Agarwal, Senior Director and General Manager, Avery Dennison South Asia Label and Packaging Materials, said, "U.P. has emerged as a strategic business location offering better connectivity and opportunities to serve important customers and markets. The new facility not only increases our manufacturing capacity but further strengthens our company's position in the industry. This move is a culmination of growing customer demand as well as the potential that India has as a region. I am extremely pleased that this achievement is taking place in the year Avery Dennison celebrates its 25th anniversary in India." Regarding this move, Mahesh Pathak, Senior Director, South Asia, Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa Operations, Label and Graphic Materials at Avery Dennison, said: "This expansion is part of our long-term commitment to the Indian market and demonstrates our deep belief that it will offer tremendous opportunities for the company and our ecosystem partners. The addition of this new greenfield facility in the North further strengthens our presence in the Indian market as well as in the Asia Pacific region." Pathak stated, "The new facility is equipped with next-generation technology compliant with Industry 4.0 and has one of the newest and fastest coating and lamination machines in this field globally. Additionally, this facility has been designed and built to Green Building standards and we have also installed solar energy systems for green energy." With this significant business milestone, Avery Dennison celebrates its 25 years of commercial operations in India. The company, which has been present in India for over two decades, has consistently pioneered the transformation of India's labeling industry. Avery Dennison has always focused on strengthening the sector by providing reliable products and fostering innovation in its ecosystem through active collaboration with its partners. The company started operating its first factory in Gurgaon in 1997 with a hot-melt coating line. Since then, it has expanded its operations across India in major cities such as Pune, Bangalore, and Kolkata. Kanak
