Sigmatex Partners with Hengrui

Sigmatex, a leading UK carbon fiber company, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Hengrui Corporation (HRC), a China-based manufacturer of carbon fiber automotive components. The partnership will focus particularly on the automotive market in the Asia region. Regarding this partnership decision, Sigmatex stated: "Both Sigmatex and HRC recognize the growing interest in carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) as part of weight reduction efforts to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions in conventional internal combustion engine vehicles in the automotive industry, and to maximize the range of electric vehicles."
