The high-performance direct-to-metal (DTM) polyurethane coating delivers notable efficiency by reducing application time and material use, thanks to minimal surface preparation requirements, fast drying times and superior single-coat coverage.

The high-performance polyurethane coating, which can be applied directly to metal (DTM), delivers remarkable efficiency gains by reducing application time and material consumption through minimal surface preparation requirements, fast cure times, and excellent single-coat coverage properties.
Application of Acrolon 680 is simplified and accelerated by the combination of its properties. First, the high-solids polyurethane can be applied to minimally prepared surfaces, particularly those cleaned with SSPC-SP2 hand tool abrasion where tightly adhering rust is present. Additionally, Acrolon 680 can be applied directly to metal in a single thick coat, thereby eliminating the time that would be spent on setup for similar multi-coat acrylic or alkyd systems.
