Perstorp Increases TMP Production Capacity Perstorp, a global leader in trimethylolpropane (TMP) production, has expanded its capacity to meet rising demand from the European market. TMP is used to enhance the properties of numerous materials. Common applications include saturated polyesters for coil coatings, polyurethanes for coatings and elastomers, acrylic acid esters for radiation curing, esters for synthetic lubricants, and surface treatment of pigments.   Filip Tauson, Vice President Global Polyols at Perstorp, said: "The capacity increase is fully in line with our desire to further strengthen Perstorp's position in the polyols market. TMP is an important product in our polyols portfolio, which is one of Perstorp's core business areas. This product group has been instrumental in Perstorp's development as an international company, and we are pleased to further expand our position to serve the strong demand from the market."
