Good and Denholm Logistics Companies Join Forces

Good Logistics, established in England in 1833, and Denholm Logistics, established in Scotland in 1866, began operating under the Denholm Good Logistics umbrella as of 1 January 2024. Two global logistics giants based in the United Kingdom—Good Logistics and Denholm Group—have combined their strengths. The company, which has provided services in Turkey under the Good Logistics name, began operating as Denholm Good Logistics as of 1 January 2024. Levent Aydinç, General Manager for Turkey, stated: "It is clear that 2024 will be a challenging year. However, this merger will enable us to overcome difficulties more easily and to be stronger and more dynamic in every geography." Noting that the two global logistics giants have a strong infrastructure worldwide, particularly in the United Kingdom, the United States, the Far East and the Middle East, Aydinç explained: "The synergy created following the merger will deliver significant productivity gains in our services. This will translate into a competitive advantage for our customers." Aydinç described how, thanks to NVOCC licenses, they operate as non-vessel-operating common carriers in maritime transport and can issue their own bills of lading. He also mentioned that they provide air cargo services with IATA certification and highlighted that they are among the few companies in the United Kingdom with on-site customs clearance authority.

"2024 will be a growth year powered by the merger"

Aydinç stated: "We had set our growth expectations at 15 percent. With the contribution of Denholm Good Logistics' extensive global network, we have updated our revenue growth target for 2024 to 25 percent. With the merger strengthening our position further, we will continue to provide fast, secure and high-quality logistics services to our customers across various sectors, including spare parts, packaging products, steel and hazardous materials, which we already serve."
