Global Amines Completes Major Acquisition Global Amines signs definitive agreement to acquire Clariant's Global Quats and Esterquats business Global Amines Company, a 50-50 joint venture between Clariant and Wilmar, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Global Quats and Esterquats Business from Clariant. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2023. The purchase price is set at USD 113 million, subject to standard closing conditions. The business enjoys an excellent reputation as a leading quats supplier with proprietary technology, and its products are used in a wide range of applications including fabric softeners and hair conditioners.
