Dongwoo to Build New PU Leather Plant in Bangladesh

Dongwoo to Build New PU Leather Facility in Bangladesh Investments by South Korean companies Giant BD Footwear and Dongwoo BD have been allocated for establishing a footwear and footwear accessories manufacturing industry within the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority Economic Zone (BEPZA EZ). Both production ventures are entirely foreign-owned. Giant BD Footwear's facility in BEPZA EZ is expected to produce 20 million pairs of shoes, sandals and footwear accessories annually and create employment opportunities for 600 Bangladeshi citizens.
