Atlas Composite Technologies Expands Composite Operations

Specialist manufacturer Atlas Composite Technologies is preparing to create more than 100 jobs at a new 30,000-square-metre facility with a seven-figure investment. The facility under construction is expected to be fully operational by September 2023 and will enable Atlas to increase production to meet rising demand for its composites. The facility will initially create 30 jobs, with this number rising above 100 over the next three years. Ben Swain, Commercial Director of Atlas, said: "The new facility takes our total footprint in Derbyshire above 90,000 square metres. This marks an important milestone for our long-term growth strategy, while also reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers and supporting economic growth in the region." Swain also noted that this development will enable the company's headquarters in Ilkeston to become a research and development centre.
