138 Young Female Musicians Benefited from TSKB and İKSV's Education Support Fund in 9 Years
Yarının Kadın Yıldızları: Genç Kadın Müzisyenler Eğitim Destek Fonu (Tomorrow's Women Stars: Young Female Musicians Education Support Fund), launched in cooperation with Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası (TSKB) and İstanbul Kültür Sanat Vakfı (İKSV), continues to contribute to the education and career journeys of young female musicians.
The Women Stars of Tomorrow: Young Women Musicians Education Support Fund, implemented through the collaboration of Turkey Industrial Development Bank (TSKB) and Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), continues to contribute to the education and career journeys of young women musicians.
Within the scope of the project launched in 2018, the number of young musicians who have qualified for support has reached 138 to date. This year, 18 young artists benefiting from the fund met music lovers at a concert held at Kadıköy Süreyya Opera during the 54th Istanbul Music Festival.
The concert took place under the mentorship of Aslıhan And Say, faculty member at MSGÜ Istanbul State Conservatory and flute artist, who served as the project's opinion leader this year.
"We Will Continue to Stand by Young Artists"
TSKB General Director Ozan Uyar noted that women having equal opportunities in every aspect of life is of great importance for an inclusive and sustainable future.
Uyar expressed satisfaction that the project, which was launched with İKSV nine years ago to support equal opportunities in the arts, contributes to the education and career development of young musicians.
Stating that listening to the 18 young musicians benefiting from the fund this year on stage is a source of pride for them, Uyar emphasized that young artists make important contributions to Turkey's cultural development.
Supporting International Careers
The Women Stars of Tomorrow Education Support Fund provides support to young women musicians who are pursuing music education at undergraduate or graduate level abroad, participating in master classes, preparing for international competitions, or require support for instrument acquisition.
Artists supported under the fund continue their education while also representing Turkey on international stages, contributing to cultural development.
18 Young Musicians Qualified for Support This Year
The 18 young musicians who qualified to benefit from the fund in 2026 are continuing their education in various disciplines including violin, cello, flute, oboe, bassoon, horn, piano, harp and composition.
Reaching 138 young musicians over nine years, the project stands out as one of the important initiatives supporting women artists' international career journeys.
