Pink Martini to perform in Istanbul on 30 June

Pink Martini, 30 June in Istanbul Pink Martini, which has won gold and platinum records with albums including "Sympathique", "Hang on Little Tomato", "Hey Eugene!", "Splendor in the Grass", "Joy to the World", "1969", "A Retrospective", "Get Happy", "Dream A Little Dream" and "Je Dis Oui", has a large fanbase in Turkey and recently released the album "Thomas Lauderdale Meets The Pilgrims" whose preparation took over 25 years. The group is preparing to meet with their fans in Turkey on 30 June at Turkcell Vadi Istanbul as part of their European tour, organized by Pasion Turca. The group performed beautiful songs on the album "Je Dis Oui" and also surprised Turkish fans by including the song "Aşkım Bahardı". Most recently, Pink Martini released the long-awaited album "Thomas Lauderdale Meets The Pilgrims", which was recorded simultaneously with their first globally acclaimed album from the beginning of their career, "Sympathique", under the Heinz Records label in May 2023. The album, which features interpretations of beloved songs such as "Night and Day", "Malagueña" and "Rhapsody in Blue", consists of 11 tracks.

The ensemble, which describes itself as "music archaeologists presenting melodies and rhythms from different corners of the world in a modern format", has had their songs featured in numerous series and films ranging from La Casa De Papel to The West Wing and Desperate Housewives.

Performing some of the most enjoyable songs, from samurai love songs to 1930s Cuban music, from French chansons to Brazilian street songs, the ensemble will meet with their fans on 30 June at Turkcell Vadi Istanbul, bringing China Forbes' warm vocals, rich repertoire and surprises.
