Concert of Turkish Women Composers Held in Paris

A concert of the album "Female Composers of the Republic's 100th Year Nazife Aral Güran-Yüksel Koptagel" by Güray Başol, released by Lila Müzik, was held for International Women's Day on 8 March. UNESCO Türkiye Hosted by Permanent Representative Ambassador Prof. Dr. Gülnur Aybet on 6 March, the evening was attended by guests from numerous countries including the United States, Australia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Qatar, as well as representatives from Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and Kotan Grup, who supported the album. Soprano Chimène Seymen performed vocal and piano works by our composers. One of the evening's finest moments was the presence of composer and pianist Yüksel Koptagel, born in 1931, whose works were performed at the concert, among the audience. The evening, which began with opening remarks by Ambassador Gülnur Aybet and continued with a musical feast, concluded with the audience applauding the artists.
