National Athlete Ekin Ereke Adds Another International Achievement
Ekin Ereke, a Cycling National Team and Büyükçekmece Municipality athlete supported by Akfen İnşaat, achieved a notable result by finishing 4th in the Elite Women category at the International Antalya MTB Cup C1 Race held on 16 February.

Ereke earned the title of Turkey's number-one ranked cyclist in international standings through her results in mountain bike races throughout 2024. Thanks to this important success, she was invited to the 2025 Season Opening Women's Mountain Bike National Team Camp and made a strong start to the new season wearing the national team jersey.
Ekin Ereke, supported by Akfen İnşaat and representing the National Cycling Team and Büyükçekmece Municipality, went through intensive testing during the Women's Mountain Bike National Team Camp held between 22 January and 16 February 2025, delivering a successful performance. Following this performance, she achieved an important result by placing 4th in the Elite Women's Category at the International Antalya MTB Cup C1 Race held on 16 February, making a successful start to 2025.
Competing in this prestigious race where national teams from many countries engaged in fierce competition, Ereke competed under the primary sponsorship of Akfen İnşaat on behalf of Büyükçekmece Municipality Sports Club, and had also earned the title of Turkey's number-one ranked cyclist through her results in mountain bike races throughout 2024.
With this important success, Ereke was invited to the 2025 Season Opening Women's Mountain Bike National Team Camp and began the new season with a strong performance wearing the national team jersey. She stated that her goal is to achieve significant results in Europe.
