LÖSEV Delivers Boxes of Happiness in Istanbul

LÖSEV delivers LÖSEV Food Packages filled with natural, healthy products to children and adult cancer patients receiving leukaemia and cancer treatment across Turkey. With the support of thousands of volunteers and donors, saying "Children First Get Well", food packages will brighten the tables of thousands of families throughout Ramadan.

As every year, this year too, saying "Children First Get Well", with the support of thousands of volunteers, donors and recovered young people, LÖSEV Food Packages filled with quality, natural and healthy products are being prepared across the country. Boxes prepared by volunteers and donors at Ülker Sports Arena in Istanbul are delivered to the homes of hundreds of children and adult patients receiving leukaemia and cancer treatment.

LÖSEV, the Leukaemia Children's Health and Education Foundation, works with full force for 27 years to support over 118,000 children and adult patients registered with the Foundation receiving leukaemia and cancer treatment and their families, providing free treatment, education, accommodation services as well as social and psychological support, in-kind and cash assistance, creating permanent solutions to all family needs.

In addition to the Food Packages LÖSEV delivers during Ramadan, the Foundation visits the homes of hundreds of registered children and adult leukaemia and cancer patients, reaching every corner of Turkey regardless of weather or distance, embracing them and creating permanent solutions to all their needs.
Moreover, LÖSEV organises LÖSEV Iftar Dinners in many provinces with registered families invited, providing moral support in their difficult struggle, making them feel that they are not alone and that LÖSEV is always by their side. 

Children First Get Well with Your Fitrah, Fidyah and Zakat Donations
Through fitrah, fidyah and zakat donations made during Ramadan, LÖSEV Food Packages and cash assistance reach children and adult patients battling leukaemia and cancer.
At LÖSANTE Children and Adult Hospital, completely free treatment service is provided to patients battling leukaemia and cancer, while through non-food donations, cash assistance is transferred to the bank accounts of leukaemia-affected children and cancer patients, social and psychological support is provided aiming for them to hold onto life firmly.

LÖSEV Officials explained the importance of donations made during Ramadan as follows: "The number of leukaemia and cancer patient children and families under our care has exceeded hundreds of thousands. Our social service specialists go to every corner of Turkey regardless of snow, winter, cold, distance or proximity and embrace our patients. Unfortunately cancer is increasing rapidly. Every penny and every morsel of your donations finds its place and most importantly gives life. It is good that you exist and will always exist."
