Hygiene Is Health Project Reaches 2,000 Women
TİKAV and Akfen Yenilenebilir Enerji have implemented three corporate social responsibility projects since 2017 under the headings "We Became School at Home," "Health First" and "Hygiene is Health," reaching approximately 4,300 women living in rural areas with training programs.
TİKAV Board Chairman Sultan Yılmaz stated: "As TİKAV celebrates its 21st year of establishment, we will continue to implement women-focused corporate social responsibility projects in the coming years."
Through the "Hygiene is Health" project, training programs were organized in 2019 in Mersin, Muğla, Amasya, Kayseri, Sivas, Tokat, Konya, Erzurum, Elazığ, Giresun, Trabzon, Van, Denizli, Aydın, Sakarya and Çanakkale provinces, where hydro, solar and wind energy production facilities operated by Akfen Yenilenebilir Enerji are located.
TİKAV Board Chairman Sultan Yılmaz, noting that they implement projects on different subjects each year, stated that they aim to increase awareness on various topics among family members through women, who are the foundation of the family.
