Ferhan Şensoy's one-man show Ferhangi Şeyler, which has run continuously since 7 March 1987, will celebrate its 30th anniversary on 15 August at Antalya Konyaaltı Theatre, making history in world theatre. In the performance, the master delivers subtle critiques of current everyday occurrences, neighbourhood relations, politicians from the recent past to today, those in power, religious perception, and airline personnel. At times offering gentle reproaches, at times sharp criticism. He engages in dialogue with the audience from time to time. His readiness in answering questions from the audience likely stems from the improvisational skills of seasoned performers. There is also a newspaper section in which he reads today's newspapers and comments on current events. The songs and folk ballads he sings while playing the saz make the audience smile at times and deeply reflect at others. A folk ballad he sings for Aşık Mahzuni leaves the entire hall melancholic.
