An Exhibition on Reality and Other Absurdities
Orderly Madness is an international group exhibition featuring contemporary artists from many different fields and disciplines. The exhibition reviews the concept of information reaching us through countless screens and media channels in the so-called information age we inhabit. While presenting a pluralistic and holistic understanding of information, the exhibition questions the known intellectual hegemony. Orderly Madness evaluates unconventional ways of dealing with reality to produce alternative perspectives in the world we live in, and also underscores what it means not to know and to be unknown. Held at Akbank Sanat, the exhibition demonstrates that in our extremely wild and chaotic world, asking questions and going beyond the known is more meaningful than seeking answers and final conclusions.20 November 2019 – 11 January 2020 / Akbank Sanat
