Creavit has been awarded the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026, one of the world's most prestigious design awards, for its "Mesopotamia" basin design inspired by the ancient civilizations of Anatolia. The product, which brings cultural heritage together with contemporary design understanding, was recognized by the international jury on the criteria of aesthetics, functionality and user experience.

Operating in over 65 countries worldwide with ceramic sanitaryware, bathroom furniture, faucets and bathroom solutions, Creavit has added another achievement to its international design success. The brand won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026 with its "Mesopotamia" basin design, developed drawing inspiration from the rooted civilizations of Anatolia.

Thousands of years of cultural heritage meet contemporary design
The Mesopotamia basin design reinterprets the thousands of years of cultural heritage of the geography from which it takes its name through a modern design approach. The product's exterior surface references the trough form, one of the important symbols of Mesopotamian civilizations, while the vortex form in the inner basin symbolically reflects the cycle of time and the narrative of the "Great Flood".

The color options consisting of terracotta, linen, serpentine and lapis lazuli tones complement the design's cultural references, giving the product a distinctive character.

Combining aesthetics and functionality
Mesopotamia stands out not only through its aesthetic approach but also through its functional features. Thanks to specially developed basin geometry, the design supports controlled water flow, improving user experience with its hygiene and ease-of-use properties.
