INTUITION AND SOFTWARE GRAMMAR EXHIBITION CONTINUES UNTIL 30 NOVEMBER

"Intuition and Software: New Faces of Contemporary Art with Young Hungarian Artists"
CerModern presents the "Intuition and Software" exhibition featuring young artists selected from the Hungarian National Bank Art Collection. This exhibition explores the depths of contemporary art, bringing together intuitive approaches in art production with the layers of software technology. The works of young artists reveal the changing face of modern art while inviting visitors to discover the inner logic of visual structures.

The exhibition is structured around two main axes: intuition and software grammar. This dual structure demonstrates how artists blend traditional painting and sculpture approaches with digital tools and how they redefine intuitive creative processes. The works combine organic connections established with nature and human emotions with the structured logic of the digital world.

Intuition
Intuitive creation represents a spontaneous process that develops based on the artist's direct sensory experiences. József Csató, among the artists in this section, brings together abstract and figurative through biomorphic forms. In his paintings, amoeba-like shapes and vibrant colours carry traces of the real world while embarking on journeys into the depths of imagination. Nikolett Balázs is known for her feminine fantasy installations created using archaic materials. Her works possess powerful narratives born from deep relationships with her surroundings and materials.

Ádám Dóra creates abstract geometric forms inspired by urban landscapes while bringing elements of city life to canvas. Erika Fábián combines emotional depth with abstract art, creating minimal compositions made of dots. Her works function as a record of memory born from personal experiences and traumas.

Software Grammar
Software grammar represents the layered creative processes offered by digital tools. Róbert Batyko creates a new language on pictorial surfaces through digital imaging and graphic software. Processing paint masses with machine assistance, Batyko brings digital aesthetics to canvas, presenting a post-technological reality in his paintings. Márton Nemes draws inspiration from the digital world, using vibrant colours and industrial materials; combining the aesthetics of technology with spontaneous brushstrokes.

Gergő Szinyova recreates the worn patterns of old poster prints in brightly coloured canvases, while Menyhért Szabó distorts classical human faces, transforming universal portraits into masks. Tamás Melkovics adds digital layers to sculptural art, using 3D software to create flexible and expandable sculptures.

The artists featured in this exhibition bring together different approaches of contemporary art, blending intuitive creative processes with the possibilities offered by digital technology. Through the "Intuition and Software" exhibition, art enthusiasts will witness both aesthetic experiences nourished by nature and the structured logic of the digital world.

The Intuition and Software exhibition invites everyone wishing to explore the creative diversity of 21st-century art and discover the innovative role of young artists in this process to CerModern. Additionally, guided exhibition tours are held every weekend at 14:00.

MAYANS - Mysterious Worlds Series (1 October–30 November)

This digital exhibition, created through CerModern and Reotek collaboration in Flow Digital Theatre, invites visitors to the enchanting universe of Mayan civilization. The exhibition, consisting of two main sections, examines in depth the elegance of Mayan architecture, its mystical bonds with nature, and astrological beliefs.

In the first section, visitors will discover the social and cultural fabric of Mayan society; in the second section, there is a digital archive of the Dresden Codex, one of the most important written documents of Mayan civilization. This unique digital experience is further enriched through guided tours, offering visitors unforgettable moments.

LOOKING ELSEWHERE BEING THERE (viewable until 3 November)

Organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Ankara and the Austrian Ministry of Arts and Culture, the "Looking Elsewhere Being There" exhibition examines in depth the concepts of movement and belonging, offering art enthusiasts a multi-layered experience. Works by artists from different cultural contexts question the meaning of looking at a place and being present in that place.

The works in the exhibition reveal unexpected connections between boundary-transgressing artistic practices and spatial and social relationships. Visitors will discover the complex nature of physical and emotional bonds through the artists' original approaches. Curated by Marcello Farabegoli and team, this exhibition offers different perspectives, taking participants on an intellectual journey. Questioning spatial perception, transformations in relationships between individuals, and how these transformations are reflected in artistic practices, this exhibition reveals art's interaction with social dynamics through the concepts of space and movement.

In this context, visitors do not merely look but also question their viewing perspectives; they witness the process of subjectification around space, movement, and relationships. The works in the exhibition reveal how space is perceived, how movement is experienced, and what transformation takes place in individuals' relationships.

Art functions as a tool that develops subjectivity; however, in this context, perspective emerges not in the subject but as a phenomenon existing in objects and the world. The exhibition invites visitors to build bridges between past and present, while simultaneously emphasizing the importance of developing new perspectives and looking from different angles. Through artworks, visitors will experience the complex and multi-layered structure of subjectification and feel themselves as part of this transformation.

ANGARA CASINO MUSICAL CABARET THEATER PLAY

Ankara's unforgettable casino evenings come back to life with the Angara Casino Musical Cabaret! With its 25-person large cast and live orchestra, this musical theater play transports viewers back to the enchanting atmosphere of the past while also shedding light on the history of entertainment and music.

In the play, accompanied by the vibrant performances of the character Grumpy Virgin, Ankara spoon melodies, folk dances, arabesk, and the most beloved songs of Turkish classical music are performed live. Along with the music, social, political, and cultural dynamics changing from past to present, and their impacts on Turkey's entertainment and music sector, are brought to the stage. Angara Casino is not merely a musical theater; it is also a nostalgic portrait of music, entertainment, and sociocultural changes.

This cabaret theater revives the casino culture of the past for audiences, narrating the effects of social erosion in a humorous and touching manner. Songs performed live with music and energetic stage performances will offer a unique experience.

ROMEO AND JULIET (31 October)

One of the greatest tragedies brought to the literary world by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, will meet audiences at 20:00 on the evening of 31 October at CerModern stage. This unforgettable work, which narrates the purity and tragedy of love in the most striking manner, will be revived as one of the masterpieces of the theater world.

Romeo and Juliet, with Shakespeare's timeless genius, weaves together the irresistible love of two young people with blood feuds between enemy families. This story of young lovers who make sacrifices for love and face an inevitable end stands out as one of the most affecting narratives in human history through Shakespeare's subtle language and profound psychological analyses. This performance, staged in CerModern's enchanting atmosphere, promises an emotional journey for viewers.

Romeo and Juliet, as a work that has redefined the concepts of love and tragedy throughout centuries, powerfully reflects the power of love and the weaknesses of human nature. The clash of two families, the hopeful yet inevitable fate of young lovers; Shakespeare's immortal verses come back to life on stage.

THE BLAZE DJ SET CONCERT (29 October)

The most striking and impressive duo of electronic music, The Blaze, takes the stage at CerModern on 29 October. With unique stage setup, captivating three-dimensional visual shows, interactive specially designed visuals, and light shows, they will provide an unforgettable evening for the audience.

The Blaze, created by French cousins Guillaume and Jonathan Alric through their music and directing skills, will present an auditory and visual feast, deeply affecting listeners. With their mystical music adorned with vocals, the duo touches the soul, essentially redefining electronic music on stage.

Additionally, rising German DJ-producer Patrick Krause will also perform at the event. Known especially for his remix of Bicep's "Drift" and mentioned in Solomun's performances, Krause will provide an unforgettable experience with his rhythms.
