The Genius Behind "True Detective" Soundtrack Music, Rising Star of Contemporary American Folk Scene Lera Lynn Performs at Zorlu PSM on 22 November as Part of Garantı Jazz Green Concerts Since her debut album "Have You Met Lera Lynn?" released in 2011, Lera Lynn has become an active player in the contemporary music scene, establishing herself firmly among singer-songwriters with her captivating voice. Her second album "The Avenues" presents a more professional sound than her debut. With The Avenues, Lynn caught the attention of T-Bone Burnett, producer of HBO drama True Detective, and she soon began composing music for the series. As her star rose further, she added to her reputation through her role in the show, and in 2016 released the album Resistor, which introduced a new, more rock-oriented sound. With "Plays Well With Others" released in the first half of this year, Lynn is preparing for a world tour, her velvety vocals accompanied by some of the most delightful American melodies of the contemporary music scene.
