"Bak Ciğerim, Akciğerim" Event Raises Awareness of Lung Cancer

The "Look at Your Lungs, My Lungs" information meeting, organized under Lung Cancer Awareness Month with the support of Roche Pharmaceuticals Turkey and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology (TTOD), took place with the participation of renowned actress and life coach Ayşe Tolga and Beşiktaş legend Metin Tekin. For Lung Cancer Awareness Month, the "Look at Your Lungs, My Lungs" campaign launched by Roche Pharmaceuticals Turkey last year brought together renowned actress and life coach Ayşe Tolga with legendary footballer Metin Tekin. At the event organized this year with the support of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology (TTOD), the campaign film featuring Metin Tekin was screened, while Ayşe Tolga also shared the most frequently asked questions about lung cancer with expert Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Sönmez. Metin Tekin said, "I am happy to be part of such a valuable project. This year's campaign slogan is 'Play the game called life healthily.' It is important to be conscious about disease, of course, but even more important is to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I hope the project will contribute in this respect as well." The event, which aims to raise awareness about lung cancer and eliminate misconceptions, was also broadcast live on social media.
