Meaningful Visit from Alcon Employees

Alcon's corporate social responsibility team "Touching Lives" brought color to the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralysis Association's garden.

The "Alcon Touching Lives Team," composed of Alcon Turkey employees and implementing projects on a voluntary basis, repaired and painted wheelchair swings in the TOFD headquarters garden and carried out garden landscaping by planting flowers.

Aydan Göç, Alcon Turkey Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications, who leads the Alcon Touching Lives Team, shared the following information about the project they implemented with TOFD: "We follow the work and campaigns that TOFD carries out with the goal of ensuring full and effective participation of people with disabilities in social life.

As the "Touching Lives" team, we are very pleased to have made their already beautiful gardens even more pleasant with small touches and to have brought color to a space where spinal cord paralysis patients and their families spend time.

In addition to the work we did together today with our physical effort, as the Alcon Turkey family, we have been supporting the plastic cap collection campaign that the association has been running successfully for years since the beginning of the year.

By the end of the year, we hope that as a company, we will contribute to connecting those waiting for a wheelchair with life through the caps we have collected.
