Highlighting the importance of replenishing minerals and electrolytes such as sodium, chlorine and potassium lost through increased perspiration due to rising temperatures, Nutrition Advisory Board Member Prof. Dr. İsmet Tamer said: "I recommend drinking two glasses of mineral water with a slice of lemon added and sipping it cool; and making sure to eat green leafy fresh vegetables, which are mineral reserves, and summer fruits, which are water reserves, in meals and snacks."
