As in previous years, the Aegean Region was represented in the Champions League of Exports with the second-highest number of companies in 2024, following the Marmara Region.

Of the 27 sectors where exporters are clustered across Turkey, 8 export champions consist of companies from the Aegean Region, while 5 of the export champions are members of Aegean Exporter Associations.
İzmir, with 89 companies on the TİM top 1000 exporters list, continues to follow İstanbul, while 24 companies from Manisa, 20 from Denizli, 9 from Aydın, 6 from Balıkesir, 4 from Kütahya, 3 from Muğla and 2 from Uşak entered the export champions ranks.
Pergamon Status Dış Ticaret A.Ş. is İzmir's export champion
The company bringing in the most exports from İzmir is Pergamon Status Dış Ticaret A.Ş. with USD 521,969,000, while the second-ranking company requested anonymity. The third-place holder is ARKAS Konteyner Taşımacılık A.Ş. with USD 370.8 million in foreign exchange earnings.
Among exporting firms from İzmir, JTI TÜTÜN ÜRÜNLERI SANAYİ A.Ş. ranked 93rd nationwide while becoming Turkey's export champion in the tobacco sector.
VERDE YAĞ BESİN MADDELERİ SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. won Turkey's export championship in the olive and olive oil sector, securing 232nd place on the TİM top 1000 list.
UÇAK KARDEŞLER GIDA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş., based in İzmir and Turkey's number-one exporter in the fresh fruit and vegetable sector since 2017, again enjoyed championship status in 2024.
Ekoten Tekstil climbed 424 ranks; Sunel Ticaret Türk A.Ş. rose 347 positions
On the TİM top 1000 exporters list, the fastest-rising Aegean export champion was Ekoten Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., which jumped 424 positions from 977th to 553rd. Sunel Ticaret Türk A.Ş. rose 347 ranks, advancing from 896th to 549th.
Vestel Ticaret A.Ş. is Manisa's and the electrical-electronics sector's export champion
Vestel Ticaret A.Ş. remains Manisa's export champion as it has been for many years, bringing in USD 2,204,000,000 in foreign exchange in 2024. Bosch Termoteknik Isıtma ve Klima San. ve Tic. A.Ş. stands out as Manisa's second-largest exporter, while MAXİON İnci Jant Sanayi A.Ş. claimed the third position in Manisa's rankings.
ÖZGÜR TARIM ÜRÜNLERI SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş., based in Manisa, became Turkey's export champion in the dried fruit sector. The company increased its exports by 37 percent in 2024, from USD 94.5 million to USD 130 million, and rose 82 positions on the top 1000 exporters list to reach 217th place.
Denizli's export champion, Başak Metal, became Turkey's second in its sector
Denizli's export champion in 2024, as in previous years, is Başak Metal Tic. ve San. A.Ş. with USD 586 million in exports. Başak Metal San ve Tic. A.Ş. also achieved second place in Turkey in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector.
Kocaer Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. claimed second place among Denizli's export champions, while Kardemir Dış Ticaret A.Ş. placed third.

Balıkesir Elektro Mekanik San. A.Ş. is Balıkesir's export champion. The company increased its exports from USD 206 million in 2023 to USD 336 million in 2024, a 63 percent increase. With this performance, Balıkesir Elektro Mekanik San. A.Ş. rose 62 positions on the TİM top 1000 exporters list, climbing from 130th to 68th place.
The second-largest exporter from Balıkesir is Banvit Bandırma Vitaminli Yem San. A.Ş.; the third is Yarış Kabin Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
Aydın's export champion this year is PENİNSULA TOURS TURİZM SEYAHAT ORG. TİC. VE SAN. LTD. ŞTİ., which entered the top 1000 exporters list at 134th position. The second and third-ranked export champions from Aydın are companies that requested anonymity.
Muğla, a leader in aquatic products production and exports in Turkey, demonstrated its strong position in this sector on the TİM top 1000 exporters list.
Top three in aquatic products sector from Muğla
Muğla entered the TİM top 1000 list with 3 companies, all from the aquatic products and animal products sector. KILIÇDENİZ ÜRÜNLERI ÜRETİMİ İHRACAT İTHALAT VE TİCARET A.Ş. is Muğla's export champion while also becoming Turkey's number-one exporter in the aquatic products sector. Kılıç Deniz increased its exports from USD 255.7 million in 2023 to USD 342.7 million in 2024, a 34 percent increase, and rose 33 positions on the TİM top 1000 list from 99th to 66th place.

Eskinazi: "Aegean export champions posted USD 26.2 billion in exports"
Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator President of Aegean Exporter Associations, noted İzmir's significant contribution to establishing Turkey's exporter identity and expressed satisfaction at maintaining second-place status with 157 companies on the TİM top 1000 exporters list.
Highlighting that Aegean export champions on the list posted USD 26.2 billion in exports in 2024, Eskinazi stated: "During a period when global markets are selective, exchange rate increases lag far behind inflation increases in Turkey, our exporters achieved remarkable success. However, their capital eroded in the process. Turkish exporters can only continue to exist with an ecosystem that preserves their competitiveness. Turkey is rapidly moving away from this ecosystem. We had set an export target of USD 280 billion for the end of 2025. If steps to support exports are not taken, we may struggle to even reach USD 270 billion."
