High Power and Flexibility in Adhesive Curing DELO has developed a linear lamp for curing adhesives and other multifunctional polymers. DELOLUX 301 is suitable for highly automated processes in small and narrow production lines. The lamp delivers maximum curing speeds and great flexibility for integration into production lines such as consumer electronics assembly. The unit can also be used in the lamination of thin-film solar cells. With this series lamp added to its portfolio, DELO has added another form factor to its range of area and spot lamps. Thanks to very high intensity of up to 30 W/cm², the DELOLUX 301 not only provides maximum speeds for adhesives and other multifunctional polymers, but also allows working distances of up to 100 mm from lamp to components. The lamp head produces a linear irradiated area of 38.7 mm x 8.45 mm. DELOLUX 301 can be operated as a single head or seamlessly combined to form a larger array. When lamp heads are combined in up to three directions, users can easily implement both individual and homogeneous exposure geometries. For example, a wide array of lamps can be used for roll-to-roll lamination of flexible thin-film solar cells where adhesives such as DELO PHOTOBOND LP4115 are frequently needed to protect cells made from organic materials and perovskite from moisture ingress. The lamp is available at wavelengths of 365 nm, 400 nm and 460 nm, making it suitable for UV-cured and light-cured products. Service life exceeds 20,000 hours.
