Henkel Adhesive Technologies Joins CELAB

Henkel Adhesive Technologies, a leading supplier of high-performance solutions in adhesives, sealants and functional coatings, has joined a global consortium for Circular Economy for Labels (CELAB). The consortium is dedicated to creating a more sustainable self-adhesive labeling industry. The organization brings together companies across the matrix and liner industry value chain by working collaboratively to address major differences in production processes and recycling capacity across different markets. Henkel joins other leading companies to facilitate global collaboration with CELAB, encourage regional initiatives, identify best practices in the sector and promote their universal adoption. CELAB will seek to increase education and focus on regional options to promote material recycling for all components in order to improve product sustainability.

It will address the matrix and present liner recycling, including analyzing different workflows and technical challenges, promoting recycling networks, engaging with government regulators and educating industry and the public. Henkel's packaging adhesives, designed with consumers in mind, offer high-performance solutions to enable fast-moving consumer goods companies to access efficient and reliable options. The products provide label solutions that deliver safe and sustainable packaging for consumers.
