Greif Opens New Adhesive Plant in Cincinnati

Greif opened a new adhesive manufacturing facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. The state-of-the-art facility, which began operations in the fourth quarter of 2023, adds to the company's capacity for water-based adhesive production. This facility became the third location in the Greif Adhesives Group network, alongside Kernersville, North Carolina and Atlanta, Texas. Rick Moreland, Vice President and General Manager of Greif Adhesives Group, stated: "We are pleased to formally open our new manufacturing facility in Cincinnati. This facility not only creates new employment opportunities in the region, but also provides us with a strategic foothold in the Midwest, further strengthening our leadership position in the adhesives market." Water-based adhesives produced by Greif are used in various industries including tube and core construction, corrugated cardboard, carton, drywall and furniture manufacturing, as well as high-speed cast lamination.
