Dow Launches New Fast-Curing Adhesive

Dow (NYSE: Dow) has launched the new DOWSIL ™ EA-3838 Fast Adhesive, an advanced primer-less silicone adhesive that cures rapidly at room temperature without oven heat for reduced energy consumption in advanced manufacturing, white goods, automotive electronics, lighting and avionics production. This innovative adhesive cures at room temperature and delivers rapid bonding in a shorter timeframe. Additionally, DOWSIL ™ EA-3838 Fast Adhesive creates strong, reliable bonds between various different materials ranging from glass to metal, glass to painted metal, and glass to plastic. On Tuesday, 28 April, Dow hosted a webinar titled "DOWSIL ™ EA-3838 Fast Adhesive: Faster assembly with a new, ultra-fast curing adhesive at room temperature." The seminar was conducted under the direction of Burak Akın Aksoy, Technical Service and Development Scientist at Dow, Application Engineer Michael Hartmann, and Pina Beato, Europe Marketing Director.
