Azelis, a leading innovator and service provider in specialty chemicals and food ingredients, has opened a new paints, coatings, adhesive and construction chemicals (CASE) laboratory in Istanbul, Turkey. The new laboratory, which became operational on 11 November, will enable Azelis to present innovative CASE formulations to its customers and provide more extensive and faster technical support.
Key features of the new CASE laboratory in Turkey are as follows:
• Laboratory work will focus on industrial, decorative, marine, tinplate and roll and wood coatings, including paints and varnishes.

• The opening of the laboratory is a step taken within Azelis's strategy of being a company that provides innovative services across all sectors and all regions.
Stefan Hagenberg, Senior Technical Development Manager at CASE-EMEA Azelis, commented on the laboratory opening: "We are very excited to open a new CASE laboratory in Istanbul. This laboratory will both continuously work on new formulations and serve as a centre where we learn and teach. We will work in close cooperation with our supplier partners, our customers and our Turkey CASE team to bring new, innovative formulations to the market."
Sertaç Sürür, General Manager of Azelis Turkey, added: "There is no doubt that the need for the expertise, technical services and advanced formulations offered by Azelis in Turkey and surrounding markets is growing rapidly.
