AYSAF to be held in Istanbul on 16-19 November

The International Footwear Components Fair AYSAF, the most important meeting point for the footwear sector, is preparing to host world-leading companies in the industry for the 67th time for the autumn-winter season between 16-19 November 2022 at Istanbul Expo Center. The 67th Footwear Components Fair AYSAF, organized together with AYSAD, the umbrella organization of the sector Footwear Components Manufacturers Association, combines the strengths of Artkim Exhibition Organization, which plays an active role in the development of exports in Turkey, bringing together leading companies from all over the world.   At its 66th meeting held in June, AYSAF hosted 307 companies from 82 countries and nearly 13,000 visitors. At the fair to be held in November, it aims for growth of 20% in visitor numbers and 15% in exhibition space. AYSAF provides an ideal platform for the sector to meet its needs for shoe sole systems, leather, synthetic leather, textiles, EVA, metal and plastic products, chemicals, adhesives, machinery, equipment and production technologies. The fair will once again serve as an important bridge between producers and buyers. Offering participants and visitors a high-interaction fair experience, AYSAF will provide effective and sustained communication opportunities for participants and visitors through the "allArtkim Mobile Application" covering all fair details and the "Virtual Fair" platform that will be active after the physical fair.  

Turkey has become the safest harbor especially for Europe

Sait SALICI, Chair of the Footwear Components Manufacturers Association, noting that AYSAF plays a critical role in Turkey's 3-billion-dollar footwear export roadmap, made the following comments on the subject:

"As you know, Russia and Ukraine are important markets in terms of both our country and our sector in terms of scale and potential. We have a hardworking and dynamic structure as a sector and as a country that converts crises into opportunities. Large-scale companies producing in Russia and procuring their needs from European countries redirected their purchases to our country due to the current situation in Ukraine. Turkey has become the safest harbor especially for Europe. Foreign visitors from other regions seeking alternatives such as the Middle East, North Africa, Turkic Republics, Eastern Europe and the Balkans prefer Turkey in their visit and purchase routes both because of geographical proximity advantages, the ability to purchase in smaller quantities, and because of the price-quality balance of the products. Due to this strong structure, I do not think our sector will be heavily affected by a possible recession in European countries. Because the dynamics of the footwear sector are very strong. European Union countries, which have met large quantities of products from the Far East so far, are turning to our country, which has more geographic advantage, to meet all their needs for smaller quantities and short-term requirements. At this point, AYSAF Fair, which has made significant contributions to exports in the footwear and components industry for years, has an active role in bringing innovative products and services to a wide audience and establishing new business connections in the sector. As the umbrella organization of the sector, we believe that by continuously developing our Footwear Components Fair AYSAF, where we display our strength on the international arena, we will announce our potential to the entire world with greater goals."

The 67th Footwear Components Fair AYSAF, which will take place with Artkim Exhibition Organization, which has conducted specialized fairs in national and international standards over its 20 years of experience in the exhibition sector, will host innovations in the footwear components sector in various events and special project areas.
