Saint-Gobain Yapı Kimyasalları Makes Strategic Production Investment in Southern Region
Saint-Gobain Yapı Kimyasalları took another significant step in its growth strategy in Turkey by laying the foundation for a new plant investment that will move its Chryso operation in Adana to a stronger production infrastructure. The facility, to be built on an area of approximately 10,000 m², aims to increase production capacity in product groups, particularly concrete and cement admixtures, enabling faster and more effective responses to regional customer needs.
Saint-Gobain Yapı Kimyasalları laid the foundation for a new facility to relocate its Chryso operations in Adana to a stronger production infrastructure, marking another significant step in its growth strategy in Turkey. The facility, to be built on approximately 10,000 m² of land, aims to increase production capacity in product groups, particularly concrete and cement additives, enabling faster and more effective response to regional customer needs.
Within the Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone (AOSB), positioned within the Weber campus, the new investment will bring Chryso and Weber brands together under the same production ecosystem. This integration is expected to create operational synergy, improve efficiency in production processes, and enhance service quality.
Saint-Gobain Yapı Kimyasalları's investment supports the company's growth targets in Turkey and surrounding markets, while also aligning with the globally executed sustainable production and high-performance building solutions strategy.

In his assessment, Saint-Gobain Yapı Kimyasalları Vice President for Turkey and Central Asia stated that the investment would significantly strengthen the company's regional production capability, saying:
"Our new facility in Adana will be a strategic production hub that enables us to respond faster to growing customer needs. The integrated operation of Chryso and Weber brands within the same campus will increase our operational efficiency while allowing us to provide higher service quality to our customers."
Integrated production model strengthened
With the new facility, Saint-Gobain Yapı Kimyasalları is transitioning its production and supply chain structure in Turkey to a more integrated model. The production infrastructure specializing in concrete and cement additives will provide capacity flexibility in line with growing demand in regional markets.
With this investment, the company aims to both strengthen its presence in the local market and advance its strategic position within the global building chemicals network.
