Medcem receives 3 export awards

Medcem Çimento received three awards at the 6th Export Champions Award Ceremony organized by the Cement, Glass, Ceramic and Earth Products Exporters Association (ÇCSİB). The 6th Export Champions Award Ceremony was held by the Cement, Glass, Ceramic and Earth Products Exporters Association (ÇCSİB). At the awards ceremony, Medcem Çimento, a subsidiary of Eren Holding and owner of Turkey and Europe's largest cement plant, won first place among "Companies with the Highest Exports" in the General Cement Sector Category and in the Grey Cement Category. Medcem Çimento also received fifth place among "Companies with the Highest Exports" in the Clinker Category at the same awards ceremony. Thus the company left the ceremony with three awards in total. Mehmet Ali Ceylan, CEO of Medcem Çimento Group, made remarks. Ceylan stated that they are one of the most important players in the Turkish cement sector at both national and international levels.

"We produce high-durability, low-carbon-footprint products"

Stating that the majority of their production is exported, Ceylan said, "As a company, we continue to grow qualitatively and quantitatively within the framework of our Strategic Growth Plans that we have set. With our second production line coming online at the end of last year, we aim to increase our exports. Besides this, we have placed sustainability, efficiency and digitalization at the center of our business processes. Currently we produce high-durability, low-carbon-footprint products for different markets. Once we complete the terminal network we have started to establish, we will begin selling our products abroad through our own sales channels. Today we are among the first companies that come to mind worldwide, particularly when there is demand for high-quality cement. Our most important market is the United States. Following that are Europe, West Africa and Latin American countries," he said.
