Since 2007, Sözal Kimya has attracted attention with its range of textile chemicals and dyes, distributing its developed products to various countries worldwide. The company has now undergone a management change at the senior level. İbrahim Anar was appointed Head of Sözal Kimya Textile Dyes and Chemicals.

Who is İbrahim Anar?

İbrahim Anar graduated from Uludağ University's Department of Textile Engineering in 1987 and began his career as a Weaving Engineer at Akın Textile Factory. In 1992, he studied at UMIST in Manchester, England. He subsequently held various positions in technical and management roles at Akın Textile, Isko, Güney-Polgat, Everlight and Sanko. Anar is also a graduate of Anadolu University's Business Administration and Capital Markets programmes. Most recently, he worked at LCW as Fabric Technical Manager, conducting studies on improving fabric quality and resolving production issues in dyehouses both domestically and internationally. As of September, İbrahim Anar heads the Textile Dyes and Chemicals division at Sözal Kimya and speaks English. He is married with three children.

Founded in Bursa in 2007, Sözal Kimya began operations with textile auxiliary chemicals and dyes. Expanding its field of activity by entering the plastics sector in 2016, Sözal Kimya commenced dye production for all manufacturers in the plastics industry through masterbatch production. As of 2020, the company added water chemicals and hygiene products to its operations, establishing its main product segments. The company produces 72,000 tonnes of chemicals and 12,500 tonnes of plastics annually. Operating in production facilities spanning 8,111 m² in textiles and 11,000 m² in plastics, Sözal Kimya is active in 12 countries with hundreds of product varieties.
