Menswear brand Kiğılı continues its success through sustainable business processes it has adopted. Kiğılı, which integrates its mission of valuing nature and people into all business operations, earned the right to receive the "Zero Waste Certificate" through the integration of its established Zero Waste Management System into production. Kiğılı, which maintains its pioneering role through innovations it has brought to the menswear sector, obtained the Zero Waste Certificate from T.C. Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation with its Zero Waste Management System. Kiğılı, which pursues policies for building a sustainable future across all business operations, once again demonstrated its commitment to efficient resource use and waste management with this certificate. At Kiğılı, production focuses on efficient resource use and waste reduction Commenting on the importance of the zero waste approach pursued to reduce waste volumes and protect the environment and human health, Kiğılı Board Vice Chairman Hilal Suerdem said the following: "The sustainable and efficient management of resources is an inescapable necessity today. In line with sustainable development objectives, leading brands holding an important position in society have a major responsibility. In this direction, as Kiğılı, while we strive to be pioneers in our sector when creating our collections, we also place particular emphasis on preventing waste, using resources more efficiently, reducing waste volumes, establishing effective collection systems and recycling. For this purpose, we ensure the recycling of electrical and electronic waste, water-based washing liquids and main solutions, and waste textile pieces generated at different stages of production through our Zero Waste Management System. Using recycled raw materials in our production, we implement pioneering practices that protect the textile industry today and tomorrow. While minimising negative environmental impact at every stage of production, we operate with zero waste awareness across all collections and integrate our processes accordingly. Our Capsule and Tomorrow collections consist of pieces we have designed with this understanding. The Zero Waste Certificate we have obtained will provide us with additional motivation for our sustainable strategies in the process ahead."
