Haliç University and HEFA Tekstil Join Forces Haliç University, which holds a respected position among foundation universities through its student-focused activities alongside scientific, technological and cultural-artistic events, and HEFA Tekstil, one of Turkey's major textile companies, have signed an exemplary university-industry cooperation agreement. Under the cooperation protocol signed between the two institutions, Haliç University students will be offered internship opportunities within HEFA Tekstil, and projects will be developed under the leadership of Haliç University academics focusing on sustainability and recycling in textile production, with HEFA Tekstil's participation. Haliç University Academics Lead; "Sustainability and Recycling in Textile Production" Project Haliç University Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer UTLU stated that as a university, they attach importance to graduating their students as fully equipped professionals for the business world through their educational models, and expressed that they have realized many cooperations and agreements with the business and industry sectors to date. Noting that the cooperation protocol signed with HEFA Tekstil will be one of the most productive collaborations they have implemented, Utlu stated: "Within the scope of our cooperation; the emergence of internship and employment opportunities for our students in HEFA Tekstil's production facilities and corporate structure will be an important achievement. At the same time, this year we are developing a project on sustainability and recycling in textile production under the leadership of Haliç University academics, with HEFA Tekstil's participation. I believe this project will make important contributions to the proper consumption of the world's natural resources and to raising public awareness on this matter.''
