ARTA Tekstil Boosts Capacity with New Machinery Investment

ARTA Tekstil Increases Capacity Through Machinery Investment ARTA Tekstil, which supplies fabrics to leading ready-made garment producers worldwide and contributes to increasing Turkey's export figures, continues to strengthen its production lines through machinery investments. The company has invested USD 650,000 in rotary printing machines, USD 400,000 in steaming equipment, and USD 100,000 in digital pigment printing machines, increasing its monthly capacity by 500,000 metres and annual capacity by 5-6 million metres, while targeting an increase in annual turnover of approximately USD 15 million. Operating within a dynamic and innovative production approach, ARTA Tekstil currently serves customers with high quality and speed through 4 million metres per month of dyed, printed and coated woven fabrics and 900 tonnes per month of knitted fabrics on its existing USD 80 million machinery park. The new machinery investment further strengthens its capabilities. With the new machinery investment of approximately USD 1 million 150,000, the company targets an increase in annual production capacity of around 5-6 million metres. Arif Nalbant, Founding Partner of ARTA Tekstil, emphasizing the importance of new machines for fast and quality production, stated: "With our rotary printing, steaming and digital pigment machines, which will contribute to our subcontracting printing and printed fabric sales, we will elevate the quality level of service we provide to our customers. We expect the machines, which will increase our monthly production by 500,000 metres and annually by an average of 5-6 million metres, to generate approximately USD 15 million in turnover growth."

Production volume expands, quality increases

ARTA Tekstil, which carries out pre-treatment, dyeing, printing and finishing processes and currently produces 4 million metres per month of woven fabrics and 900 tonnes per month of knitted fabrics, further expands its monthly production volume by 500,000 metres through its new machinery investment. The company operates 98 machines in its current machinery park for various processes including lot opening, singeing, pad-batch, e-control, pad-steam, digital printing, rotary printing, ramöz, steaming, flash-ager and sanforizing. It is strengthening its production lines with state-of-the-art machines for rotary printing, steaming and digital pigment printing. Nalbant, noting that the machines will average amortization in 2-2.5 years, stated: "We have investments in rotary printing machines for pigment and reactive disperse printing; steaming machines for physical processes after printing; and digital pigment printing machines for printing digital patterns with pigment dyes on all types of fabrics. Since these are investments in the area where we currently produce, they will considerably facilitate our work. Thanks to our state-of-the-art machines, we will be able to print designs of up to 9 colours with both higher precision and greater speed." Noting that the machines will contribute to an increase of approximately 20,000 metres per day in production, Nalbant said: "We are a manufacturer that follows current technologies and trends. Since our new machines have precise speed adjustment cylinder controls, dye transfer with magnetic bars will be more homogeneous and we will be able to print complex patterns easily. Thus, while our monthly production volume increases on one hand, the speed of the service we provide will also increase on the other."
