Archroma to Acquire Huntsman Textile Effects Archroma is expected to complete its acquisition of Huntsman Textile Effects on 28 February 2023. Archroma, a leading provider of sustainable specialty chemicals and solutions for industries such as textiles, packaging and paper, and paints and coatings, announced that it has obtained all regulatory approvals required to complete the acquisition of the Textile Effects business unit (Huntsman Textile Effects) from Huntsman Corporation. Both parties expect the transaction, initially announced on 09 August 2022, to close on 28 February 2023.   Archroma is a portfolio company of US-based specialty investment firm SK Capital Partners. Since its establishment in 2013, it has acquired and successfully integrated BASF's global textile chemicals units, BASF's stilbene-based OBA business units for paper applications, and M. Dohmen, a colorants specialist for automotive textiles. Heike van de Kerkhof, Chief Executive Officer of Archroma Group, commented: "We are very pleased to see this acquisition nearing completion.
