Aksa Akrilik and Ak-Kim Kimya Listed in Fortune 500

Aksa Akrilik, an acrylic fiber producer within Akkök Holding, and Ak-Kim, a chemical manufacturer, once again secured positions on the Fortune 500 list this year, continuing their track record of success. The Fortune 500 research, which identifies Turkey's most successful 500 companies, has been released to the public. Aksa Akrilik, which operates in Yalova and is Turkey's sole acrylic fiber producer and global leader in its sector, and Akkim, a leading chemical manufacturer with strategic export standing, have demonstrated their continued success by securing positions on the list for the 13th consecutive year. Aksa Akrilik ranked 95th on the general list with net sales of TRY 3,645,900,000 achieved in 2019, while placing 5th in the chemical sector rankings.

Akkim, which ranked 10th in the chemical sector list, rose six positions on the general list to reach 332nd place. Akkim's net sales for 2019 were reported at TRY 953,986,499. Operating in Yalova since 1971, Aksa Akrilik is the world's largest and Turkey's sole acrylic fiber producer, with over 1,200 employees, annual production capacity of 330,000 tons, and production facilities spanning 502,000 square meters.
