Aksa Akrilik Reports TRY 2 Billion Net Profit

Aksa Akrilik, announcing its financial results for the first nine months of 2022, increased revenue by approximately 1.5 times compared to the same period of the previous year. The company's EBITDA reached TRY 3.1 billion with growth exceeding two times. Net profit increased 165 percent year-on-year, with the company reporting TRY 2 billion in net profit. Aksa Akrilik's investment amount for the first nine months reached TRY 686 million. Leading global acrylic fiber producer Aksa Akrilik disclosed its financial results for the first nine months of 2022. According to the company's reported results, revenue for the first nine months of the year reached TRY 13.14 billion, marking a 1.5-fold increase compared to the same period of the previous year. During the period in question, the company's EBITDA increased 221 percent compared to the January-September period of the previous year, reaching TRY 3.1 billion.

Net profit increased 165 percent

Aksa Akrilik achieved TRY 2 billion in net profit with a 165 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year. The company's total investment amount for the first nine months reached TRY 686 million. Export figures for the same period totaled USD 324 million.  

Cengiz Taş, Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Aksa Akrilik, evaluated the first nine months' results.

Stating that they continue to strengthen Turkey's economy through production, exports and employment, Taş made the following remarks on the subject: "In line with our sustainable growth targets, we have been creating added value for all our stakeholders for half a century. With acrylic fiber production carried out solely by Aksa Akrilik in Turkey, we hold strategic significance in our country's exports. With our high-tempo ongoing activities, we reached our targets in the first nine months of 2022.
