Acrylic Fiber in Its Simplest Form: ADA Aksa Akrilik brings the transformation journey of acrylic fiber in line with sustainability principles to visitors through an interactive platform in the Aksa Experience Area (ADA) project, showcasing the production process, evolution and untapped potential of acrylic fiber—the most important raw material in the textile sector—across different industries. Aksa Akrilik, which opens the transformation of acrylic to visitors' experience on an interactive platform, takes participants on a unique journey of a material that has revolutionized design, art and industries. Spanning 570 square meters at its Yalova facility, the Aksa Experience Area consists of 22 different stations, presenting the applications and properties of acrylic fiber through remarkable and impressive experiences.

Acrylic Fiber in Its Simplest Form, ADA

General Manager Cengiz Taş, explaining that the Aksa ADA project arose from a very basic need—the pursuit of better explaining acrylic fiber—stated: "People perceive things they touch and see more quickly and easily. Based on this fact, when we began thinking about how we could most easily explain acrylic fiber, the result led us to this project. The term 'Aksa Experience Area' became our source of inspiration. The goal was actually to express industrial terminology that is difficult to understand in more accessible and impressive ways."

Experience area that engages all senses

Aksa Akrilik Board Member and General Manager Cengiz Taş, stating that competitive, innovative products designed in line with sustainability principles that are safe in terms of human health and the environment form the foundation of the company's continuing success in the sector, continued as follows: "ADA, an interactive platform, promises visitors a journey encompassing the production process, evolution and untapped potential of acrylic fiber—the most important raw material in the textile sector—from carpets to floor coverings, from sweaters to socks, from yarns to hand knitting, from velvet to blankets. ADA was designed as an experience area that goes beyond a space you would walk through like a museum, gallery or factory, flawlessly combining creativity, functionality and aesthetics while engaging all senses." At the Tunnel, the first point of ADA, the company values of Aksa Akrilik employees and their experiences with acrylic are conveyed. The slogans in the tunnel were formed by filtering ideas from the participation of nearly 1,500 employees expressing what Aksa means to them. Subsequently, visitors witness the entire journey of acrylic fiber across the world—from the production stage to the end user, and even to recycling and environmental impacts. From the acrylic fiber ratios in the products we use in our daily routines, to fabrics with different textures and thicknesses created through different production techniques, from collections addressing the fashion world with original designs, to areas where superior comfort and performance offered in sports textiles can be experienced—colorful and remarkable stops are visited one after another.
